I don't just love vintage fabrics - I love all things vintage, all things that I can imagine up a good story for!I found these beautiful wooden shoes with the Dutch children on them in an antique shop in New York. At the time, I didn't have children yet, but I could imagine using these with the troops in the future, putting them out on St. Nicholas Day.
So I bought them, brought them home, and they now hang in my kitchen on the other 364 days of the year.
